A Sense of Place #3: Lowland Heath (Trailer)

The third and final film in the Sense of Place series explores the lowland heaths of Southern Britain. With venomous reptiles, open plains and dawns wrapped in thick haze – this arid landscape bears more resemblance to the African savannah than the British countryside.

About the Sense of Place series:

The Sense of Place series offers an intimate view of wildlife habitats across the U.K. Without the use of narration or a definitive plot, the films invite viewers to take what they want from the film, illustrating as closely as possible what it is like to explore the habitat first hand.
